From bath cabinets to kitchen countertops, we do superior work throughout Trumbull, Fairfield and Monroe, CT
Start gathering information about what styles and products you like. Use kitchen, bath and home improvement magazines, as well as online searches and sites like Houzz or Pinterest, to find inspiration on things such as kitchen and bath cabinets or countertops, to get a better idea of what you like (and don't like).
Visit Our Showroom
Take some time to visit our showroom (Village Square Shopping Center, 401 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT). No appointment is necessary to come in and browse, gather more information and have general questions answered. We will be happy to give you a helpful measuring guide for you to take with you. Go home and take measurements of your kitchen. Then schedule an appointment to meet with one of our experienced designers at our showroom to discuss your plans and ideas. Using the information discussed at the initial meeting, the designer will go to work by creating a preliminary layout and "ballpark" pricing. While our showroom is located in Monroe, we do service surrounding areas of Fairfield and Trumbull, CT.

Establishing a Budget
It is also important to establish a budget so that your designer can help steer you towards things like kitchen and bath cabinets and other products that will allow you to stay within it. Just like houses, custom kitchens come in all shapes and sizes, so it is important to know approximately how much you want to invest before you start. Designers at New England Kitchen Design Center will work hard to stay within the parameters of your budget without sacrificing design elements.
If You Like What You See
Once your basic design decisions and budget have been established, it would be the time for the designer to come to your home to take accurate dimensions and a general on-site assessment of your remodeling project. A consultation fee of $500 is required at this time and will be applied toward the deposit of the contracted project . With the dimensions verified, our designer will either re-work or refine your design. Prior to moving forward with ordering materials or installation, a detailed contract of work will be executed between the client and designer.
We offer full-service installation using licensed and insured subcontractors. New England Kitchen Design Center will act as the general contractor for you and would be responsible for the coordination of these efforts. If you choose to handle your own installation, we would be happy to work with you on a "supply-only" basis, handling only the design and sale of your kitchen or bath cabinets and counters.
